Rooms are clean. Spacious.Beds are comfy. Prices are lowest year round. Right next to freeway. Shopping center,fastfood restaurants,grocery,and gas stations within walking distance. Close to so many different attractions n things to do including beaches. Customer service is amazing here. Super quiet complex and well maintained. Great lil snack room/ice room. They do need to upgrade the laundry room but other then that it's perfect for the price

Had to leave at midnight because I realized the room was infested with cockroaches. They acted like it was the first time they heard about it, I am sure the whole property is infested. I refused to sleep there. And it was a holiday so there was nowhere else to stay. I had to drive hours in the middle of the night to get home. Absolute nightmare. Please avoid at all cost!

Yikes! To start off, I’ve stayed at this location for months before the new manager even came in. I’ve spent thousands here. I am aware it’s a motel 6 so I know what to expect but the new manager is running this property to the ground and chasing everyone away. The new managers name is CHRIS, he’s simply miserable and takes the frustration of running a motel 6 on everyone else. I’ve literally did my best to avoid him when I had to extend when he’s not there because he’s always so unpleasant to deal with and his energy rubs off. Even the sight of him is a big sigh. He’s rude, he’s rude to others and truthfully, nobody likes him. The staff look miserable now under him, it’s definitely a shift from before with the last manager. Previous manager was also beyond stressed but he handled it a lot better. He was great, friendly, and always tried to help. I understand why he quit. Their mobile site/app has issues ever since they tried to update it, it’s been having issues even when the previous manager was still here. Chris acts dumbfounded like he has no idea what’s going on with the mobile site when multiple customers bring up issues to him, his responses and body language scream misery. The site booked 2 reservations at the same time for me, same info, same everything. Chris acted like it was impossible to cancel one of them and kept telling me I need to call the customer service number and handle it with them. I’m literally at the counter in front of him trying to extend my room. I’ve never had an issue when it comes to errors like this, EVER. Chris then proceeded to threaten me that I’m not going to be able to extend because I was calling him out on it and it hurt his fragile ego. As if I won’t happily go elsewhere and spend my money. Be aware, if you say anything he doesn’t like, he will threaten you, refuse to extend/check you in and it could be the littlest things!! Dealing with him is the equivalent to walking on egg shells. Overall, most of the staff are great, he’s just terrible. I hope he can find some happiness cuz that must be rough to be miserable and hate coming to work everyday! Smile Chris, you’ll be a lot happier if you could get yourself together. Also, as soon as I left the office, I got an email that both reservations were cancelled. Have a blessed day Chris, I truly hope your life gets better! - A previous loyal customer that is DONE with this property over something really silly.

Chris needs to go!! He is the rudest, condensing, jerk, the last he needs to do is run a motel. I have stayed there quite often, know the routine yadda yadda, my last stay there last week , I had 1 more night there & while I was at work he had the maids go into my room bag (they threw my stuff in bags) Now I was coming thru periodically thru the same gathering up my things so why he did this no clue .he's just a little man trying to power trip . I honestly think his wife & kids dont even like him. Anyway when I asked him why he just ignored me gave me a new card & told I had 30min to get my things . I havent begun to mention all the cockroaches on the floor on the wall & Chris won't switch you rooms. Thank God for Kiki Ashonie (sorry if spelt wrong, but you know who you are) & Anthony .Chris needs to go to class & etiquette school cause he has none

I came with family for a trip to legoland and we definitely had higher expectations based on the pictures we seen on booking.com. DONT TRUST THEM. This motel is close to the freeway and you can definitely hear the cars in the middle of the night. It is very sketchy and they have no shampoo or conditioner it was pretty crazy. Also the TV barely works so it’s really boring and the kids are just gonna get frustrated.The guy at the front desk was not happy at all to work there. Honestly just save yourself and get a different place because this was definitely not it.

We've stayed here while transitioning into Carlsbad for new job until I establish permanent housing. Kiki, Anthony, and the whole team in the office have been so great, so accommodating, and such hard working team. Safe property with safe occupants and clean accomodations. Housekeeping is always there when you need them, totally on top of maintaining clean, stocked units. We are so grateful for this team and property. -- MD, KS, and Romeo.

First room smelled of cigarettes. I go back to front desk asking for a non-smoking room and he said it was a non-smoking room. I told him it smelled and I wanted a diff room. He had me in another room but it was still the same issue. I washed my hands at the sink in the second bedroom and that's when the pubic hair fell out of the hand towel. There were yellow stains on the bedsheets. I complain about it to front desk again and tell him I wanted to cancel the reservation. The assistant, who was wearing pajamas and night slippers walked out to inspect the room and said there was nothing wrong with it and it met their standards for cleaning. I showed them pics of the stains I was talking about and she said she couldn't see the stains. Because I washed my hands in the bathroom it was considered "stayed in," and so they wouldn't give me a full refund and that it was policy. She then stated she has to have the room sanitized since I used the sink and she would have to call employees back in to work since they ended their shift. I said if they needed to do that, why couldn't they make sure the beds didn't have stains or pubic hair on the towels the first time around. She went back to her original argument of it's policy and they have to charge a room cleaning fee. Makes no sense business wise to call back housekeepers to clean one sink so I feel they were untruthful with the reason for the policy. All I got was a partial refund when I should've received the full. I'm assuming someone from corporate will respond to my review with a generic, copy + paste apology and promise to look into the matter. That doesn't solve the problem. All I want is a full refund.

Well let's start off by saying I spent over 180 bucks for two nights. The first night I had come across a bunch of cockroaches running around on my table and under my bed almost on my feet when I was about to take a shower. I got my container and cut all of them stepped on them took pictures of where I stepped on him at and then I picked him up and put him in the container took him down to the office and asked if I can get my money refunded due to the magnitude of a cockroaches just just helping themselves run around the in the room. The gentleman told me no I can't do that but only management can the owner is not going to be in until tomorrow at 11:00 I said are you kidding. Well well apparently he can do it he could have just easily done it and refunded my money and I would have been happy but I had to go to another motel at least 6 miles away and I am so devastated I couldn't get the thought or itching my head or checking my belongings checking this room out and make sure that nothing was in it nothing was in it at the new place where we went to you went finally went to sleep the following morning I went back to the motel while I was on my lunch break and come to find out did the manager and owner is not going to be in today I said are you kidding me the gentleman that helped me last night was there and he said here I'll just give you refund now why couldn't he have done that last night.? Is beyond me anyway so as I was I was I was waiting for my turn to be refunding my money I went to the room where I was at last night and it was occupied. I couldn't believe it not one minute date did they have a chance to get that sprayed around that whole section that whole room or call a perfesional. I went up to the door and knocked on it and told the lady hey I'm sorry but I have to tell you that this room has been infested by cockroaches I stayed here last night and I was wondering why it was already occupied and she said oh my God thank you so much for telling me she started talking her stuff and stated oh my God you are a godsend thank you very much cuz I would have had to see if there's any cockroaches in this room I said I know there is so I had four of them and I went to a different motel all together and she said thank you so I went back to the office and said wow why would you want to run out of the room already when it hasn't even been fumigated he didn't have anything to say and I know they didn't do it. But for them to have waste my time for me to come back over here but I'm kind of glad I did because now I can see that how they don't care about the cleanliness how the cockroaches were so bad I mean literally everywhere even outside As you know I'm shocked right at this point now so I'm just going to take the next step and see what happens because that is not right. Major health issues major disgusting. Who wants to share the room with cockroaches I don't and I'm surprised that they didn't do anything about it that's what I believe is wrong and needs to be said. there are plenty of other places to go or just inquire if any of the rooms have been fumigated recently due to the fact that you know about the Cockroach situation last week. I get the “you get what you pay for” idea so I didn’t expect the moon here but just save yourself the stress and go somewhere else. 4 days and no cleaning, they messed up our keys and after waiting 10 minutes for the clerk she was horribly rude and she then blamed us for the keys not working, sketchy people sleeping and wandering in the parking lot, yelled at by one of their guests who was clearly on drugs simply for standing and waiting for our ride. On and on with nonsense. Mind you….there is a security person who stands by the entry at night I guess to keep it safe? Our last night there we came back to the motel at 9pm to find it surrounded by multiple cop cars for an incident. While finally waiting to check out I was behind two separate people complaining about their stay. The clerk had clearly been hearing it all day and offered nothing to fix the problems of no internet and no room cleaning so it felt like this is their standard of service. It is to say the least a poorly managed property. While it is in a nice area of town this motel is definitely not safe. I travel extensively and thought I could save a little money since we were only going to be in the room a small amount of time every night….big mistake! If you choose to stay here I wish you luck. You will need it.

I would not stay here again. Friday night was ehhh. At 3am on Sunday morning we woke up to what sounded like our shower was turned on…come to find out, the ceiling was pouring water. I went to the front desk to let them know. The lady at the front desk just stated “I cannot do anything and the manager is not here but he will call you” I still have yet to get a phone call in regards to having anything done. We ended up having to leave the hotel at 3:30am to drive home (back to Arizona) which was not the original plan but it was what we were forced to do. Tried to call the hotel at 11am like the front desk lady said to do….got nothing but put onto an immediate hold. I would never recommend or stay here again.
