Our family stays at a LOT of Marriotts and this was one of the best we’ve experienced. The grounds were beautiful, things were clean & spacious, the pool area is beautiful under palm trees, and the breakfast was the best we’ve had (with fresh fruit cups, a big variety of options, good juices, etc.). The staff was friendly. Great stay!

What we loved about our queen suite: It was spotlessly clean, and the housekeepers are terrific. The whole staff is wonderful - friendly, efficient, and helpful. The breakfast bar was great with lots of options, and I was amazed that they even had excellent decaf coffee, a rarity at most hotels. We loved how quiet our room was, the updated decor, the excellent work chair, the full kitchen, and the free parking. In all, we had a very good stay. There were a few things I thought could use some attention: Having no door on the bathroom sink meant that a couple who go to bed at different times will disturb one another. There is not enough space between the foot of the bed and the dresser. A large person would have a tight fit getting past it. Those factors didn't keep us from appreciating the hotel, but having paid a premium rate, we felt the value wasn't entirely in keeping with the price. That said, it was overall a terrific spot, and we would stay there again, perhaps avoiding the dates when the rates are especially high.

We had a very pleasant stay at this Residence Inn. The hotel is located in a business park, which means the surroundings are on the quieter side, but it actually made for a pleasant stroll whenever we had to walk our pup. The inn itself was exceptionally clean and quiet. What really stood out, however, was the service. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. In particular, Angel gave us a wonderful welcome; his kindness and big smile really started our visit on the right note. In terms of location, even though it's in a business area, it is very convenient. The Island, a small retail plaza with several restaurants, is nearby and easily accessible. Plus, you are just a short drive away from downtown Carlsbad and major resorts like the Four Seasons and the Westin if you’re looking for more dining options. The only minor downside was that the in-room A/C was on the louder side. However, the room itself was so comfortable and clean that it didn't overshadow the experience. We would definitely stay here again!

We recently stayed 6 nights and had an awesome experience. This hotel is incredibly convenient for Legoland (10 min drive), which was the main purpose of our trip. The room was spacious and clean, and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. A huge shout-out to the staff: we bought a frozen pizza not realizing the room didn't have an oven, and they graciously baked it for us in the hotel's kitchen. Thank you! Housekeeping was offered every other day (but we just needed every 3 days, and it was done nicely). While we didn't get a chance to use the hot tub or pool, they both looked nice! Breakfast had a few simple options, but it was plenty for us to get our day started. The location is great, within a 10-15 minute drive of grocery stores, restaurants, Carlsbad Village, and the beach etc. You definitely need a car to get around as nothing is truly within walking distance, but we fully expected that. We’ll definitely be back if we’re in the area!

My family is staying there while our house is getting remodeled....my mom is dealing with chemo treatment due to bone cancer as well as having a special needs child....so seeing her living situation is a relief knowing she is comfortable with part time living at the residence inn by Marriott...I have not heard her complain once about the rooms or services...quite the opposite she seems to be in high spirits...thank you residence inn by Marriott for taking some of the load off my mother's shoulders by providing excellent living accommodations and stalller customer service

Pros: - Good location, near a lot of offices and Biotech Companies - EV Charging, they have 6 Tesla Level 2 Chargers and they are at convenient spots (near the Door) - Good Breakfast Options - Sofa bed, that rolls out into a big bed. - Decent restaurants nearby for Lunch/Dinner - Service is prompt Cons: - We had a ground floor room and the kids in the pool were making a lot of noise - The Queen bed and pillows we had were not Hard enough. They were soft and fluffy and not meant for adults.

This hotel doesn’t keep watch on their cleaning staff. I KNOW WITHOUT A DOUBT that I left an electronic item in my room on accident before I left and I was too far away to go back to get it. When I called the front desk, they said they asked whoever cleaned the room that it wasn’t there. Not honest. Be very careful with your property at this location. Breakfast was good, not great, but good. The mattress in the room was enough to send you to a chiropractor.

Clean and safe suites with a nice amount of space, including some drawers, etc. a little updating would be good (for example the carpet, but it’s not terrible). I also recommend they install handheld shower sprayer in the showers, like so many Marriott brand hotels have. All of the staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast offers a variety of healthy options, including gluten free muffins and bread upon request. Breakfast area can get a little rambunctious if there are lots of kids and I wish they didn’t have TVs in there. Pool area is clean and attractive. Quite area, generally. In a research park, but pretty central to many attractions in the area if you have a car.

Lived with my family of 5 and 3 dogs for one month in this Hotel. Staff were extremely friendly and nice. Staff were always attentive. Hotel clean. Great amenities. Will recommend this to anyone and highly recommend to families and pet travelers. Price is doable and love all the great breakfast!

Very spacious and clean rooms. We liked it here. We usually stay at the Cassara or closer to the beach but we actually like it here. It’s quiet and we can still drive to everything since we have our car. We liked the breakfast, the staff and its free parking.
