I have stayed in other motel 6 in Carlsbad and this property is very clean. The staff is great and always keeping the property safe. I would recommend staying at this location. I’m going to share this with friends who may have family who will need a clean safe place to stay. Highly recommended for a great family stay.

We have been staying in 115 and its been the best Motel 6 we have ever stayed in. I never choose motel 6 just because most are iffy. This one was a smooth check in, maid service was amazing, room was big and it was quiet. Keep it up!!! We loved it!

Stayed here for 4 nights. Best motel 6 we’ve ever stayed at. Seems to be family owned and taken care of with pride. Clean, friendly, accommodating. Memory foam pillows are great. There’s ample parking and the lot is well lit at night. Highway is loud for sure, but it seems like the owners had new windows installed that block 99% of the noise when closed, so it’s really not an issue. Everywhere else we were looking to book was at least $70/per night more—so this was a no brainer. Especially for the $0 pet fee. motel 6 never has shampoo but I always bring my own anyway, so that wasn’t a problem. Also, they have housekeeping daily!! We’ve been at Marriotts and Quality in the last few months that don’t do daily housekeeping, so this was a pleasant surprise. Coffee in lobby was a nice perk. Great hotel. Has everything you need at a great value especially compared to the going rates of hotels around town. would absolutely stay again.

EXCEPTIONAL STAY.....

We stayed here a night after flying in to the area and just needing a place to rest before we started our adventure the next day. Our room was clean, the check in was simple, and the room had a modern updated feel to it. You do get some noise from the highway so if you are light sleeper that could be a problem. Overall it is a budget hotel and it served the purpose of giving us a place to rest before starting our 8 day adventure in the area.

I came in and paid for a room, I got the keys and less than a minute later had to cancel the reservation. Didn’t even go to the room, I handed the key to the lady at the front desk. She said I could not get a refund. If they refund me before end of day today, I will not file a complaint with department of consumer affairs of California.

The cleanest, kept up and quietest motel 6 I've been to. My second visit. Friendly staff, not hiding in the back.

Stayed here a few times now. Nice hotel right in Carlsbad CA. Beds are good, shower is great, room is spacious, and clean. Service is good too. Enough parking, had no problem, and close to Carlsbad village, and beach. Ya your not right on the beach, but for a fraction of the price, plenty close enough. Great place. Would definitely recommend.

Stayed here for one night. Nice clean rooms , very spacious. The motel looks pretty new. Front desk was friendly and helpful. Minor issue - super close to the highway, can hear the road noise. Helps to run the AC to get some white noise going.

Pro: Easy access to highway 5. One exit away from Legoland. Plenty of parking. For the most part room is clean. Beds were somewhat comfortable. Con: Way over priced for what you get. Not sure how this property got so many stars. Customer service is lackluster. Never stayed somewhere where shampoo was not available in room. Had to ask for in from front desk. When I did they gave me a bad look. Room had a moldy odor once my family and I walked in. Make sure you bring your own hand soap. Hotel close to highway so you can hear the traffic. Not good for families. Overall, not worth what I paid for. Maybe I would stay here again for just myself but not with family.
