We stayed for 4 nights and overall had a mixed experience with both positives and some frustrations. The room was clean on arrival, the bed was comfortable, free parking was convenient, and the location worked well for our family. However, there were several inconsistencies with communication regarding our room request, breakfast service, housekeeping service, and guest service during the stay. That said, a few staff members stood out. Isai was consistently friendly and welcoming, Adriana made breakfast service much more enjoyable with her attentiveness and positive attitude, and Paola was apologetic and empathetic when concerns were brought up. I also want to acknowledge Arthur (AGM) and Kevin (GM) for taking the time to follow up afterward and make things right. That effort was genuinely appreciated. We have family near the Carlsbad area, and despite the challenges, we would still consider giving this property another chance as a potential go-to family hotel.

Our first time staying at a Home2 Suites and it was very welcoming and clean. Amenities was nice, laundry, mini golf, gym, pool. The free parking was a huge factor for us since we had multiple cars and when doing research a lot of the SD hotels charge like $40/car. Staff was great, free breakfast was ok /mid. My 4 star rating was the pool, it had floating chunks in it and it could have been from all the kids that day..

One of the cleanest hotels we've ever stayed at!! Staff was very friendly, my kids looked forward to breakfast every morning, and they make an effort to make this location kid friendly! My kids liked playing with the putting area they had behind the pool. Conveniently located close to Legoland, beach, gia museum, and all the other wonderful activities located on Carlsbad!

Everything was good during our stay, no unnecessary smells in our room and beddings. It’s really nice to have the above average hotel refrigerator and the utensils and microwave in our room. Room is really spacious. Breakfast was fantastic even though it almost same every day.

Stayed here for a soccer tournament. The hotel busy because there were a lot of soccer players here, so I’m sure it was a little more noisy than normal. Staff were all very friendly and polite, service was great, and no complaints about our room. We’ll be staying here again next time we’re in the area

Docking a star for hearing the elevator's "ding-dong!" go off all night. We were two rooms down and I would strongly advise requesting a room far from the elevator. Honestly I really wish they would turn off the elevator alert, even if just at night. Other than that, the hotel was decent. We appreciated the kitchenette that was complete with a microwave, full-sized fridge (with separate freezer), dishwasher, utensils/dinnerware, and large Corelle porcelain bowls with glass lids that were perfect for heating up our dinner in the microwave. We rolled the oval desk over to the couch as our dining table. The beds were comfortable. Wish the bathroom had a fan. The room was a bit warm at first but did cool down over time. The breakfast was great. I made "McMuffins" with English muffins and round egg and sausages. Don't forget to check out the milk, cereal, fruit and mini muffin selection on the far side of the room. We stayed here on a Legoland ticket+hotel package and they gave each of the kids a minifigure at check in, which is perfect for trading! The package also came with early access to Legoland, and was much more affordable than staying at the hotels on-site. I would do it again.

The rooms are big and CLEAN. The breakfast was great. They even had turkey bacon. There was one lady running the whole breakfast set up and she was amazing! I watched as she made sure nothing ran empty. She cooked and put the food out, cleaned dishes and cleaned tables. She was none stop with a smile. I really hope she's valued at work bc she's doing the job of 3 people. Legoland is also right down the street!

Very welcoming home away from home hotel. Rooms are spacious with kitchen. Partition between king bed and sofa bed is a nice touch. Heated pool and hot tub. Fire pit. Comfortable seating everywhere. Love this place, easily one of my favorites!

My wife and I are Hilton Diamond members. We spend the year traveling over 37,000 miles and primarily stay at Hilton hotels. Overall, this hotel was nice. It was clean. Everyone was extremely friendly. However the bed was one of the worst we have slept on in the past nine years of traveling for our business. We both woke up with sore backs every morning. It got so bad that, after the third night, my back went out when loading something in the car. I’m an athletic 50 year old from Colorado. My back doesn’t go out. I spent that whole day laid up, barely able to stand. I spent the fourth night sleeping on the floor. I just finished the two day drive home to Colorado in pain and discomfort. Not a very fun drive. Like the hotel. Hate the bed.

Our room king suite. Have kitchenette with sink, dishwasher, utensils etc, open storage for your things and big fridge. Bed was decent for comfort, pillows were little lumpy but ok. Room was big. Closet has curtain and own light. Shade for window has button control. Bathroom was big. Water pressure great. Overall pretty clean. There's a curtain between bed and couch area! Wish was thicker, but good idea! Pool area nice lounge very nice. Good breakfast too. Shout out to the ladies working keeping everything stocked n clean! Lounge bathroom very clean. We would stay again!
