I would have to say this is probably one of the best hotels I've been to. We went to two of the restaurants they were both fantastic. The building is great and has a fantastic view of the ocean what's on the backside. They have a couple pools here that are very nice with that said you can walk down a little bit to the 18 and older adult pool that is really nice and has a really great view. Everyone here that we walked by was very nice and very helpful. The views here are absolutely stunning no matter where you're at and the grounds are very well kept. We can't wait until we go back

We had a really lovely stay at this hotel. We were in a pool suite which was very spacious, and had a great view of the pool and the lagoon. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. Excellent golf course. Pool slides were fun for the kids. We were celebrating our boys' birthdays, and they delivered treats to our room to make them feel special. We will definitely be back.

Not sure where these rave reviews are coming from and no one is mentioning the gas station gritty toilet paper? Seriously, skimping on TP? This is a 3 star with a nice golf course. Nothing really sets it apart. Service is fine , cleanliness is is fine, the restaurant is fine, nothing stood out as 5 star.

The property was beautiful! All the staff was nice and accommodating, very dog friendly, which we loved. Caleb at the front desk was amazing and so wonderful. Sydney at the pool bar was lovely and so friendly. Food at all restaurants were great, we will definitely stay here again.

There are many positives but unfortunately did not meet the expectations of a hotel that costs $600+ per night. - breakfast buffet has no self service drinks. No water, juice, or coffee. This seems to be common at hyatts. We had to wait like 15 mins for someone just to bring me water. The food offerings were very tasty but minimal. Long waits for seating and food, servers felt overworked and understaffed during Christmas week. - the TVs have no Netflix or streaming options, must use Google cast from phone. - the HVAC air in our room was very dry. After 1 night our sinuses were messed up, coughing and sniffling. - there is no self parking. All must pay $60 per day for valet. This can lead to long wait times trying to get your car in the morning and evening. This also seems common for Hyatt. - both nights people eating on the restaurant patio loudly clinked their forks against their glasses when the golf machine drives by to make the driver honk. Starting in the late afternoon this was heard every 10 mins from inside the rooms with all doors closed, going late into the night. - Being next to Legoland, the hotel is overrun by kids. - the cheapest offering for the spa is $280 for a 30min express facial. There is nothing that can be put on my face worth that much in 30 mins. The spa is pricing out anyone who isn't wealthy or willing to be ripped off. - there are no top sheets under the bed comforters. You sleep directly under the comforter. Most people don't mind but for me it made sleeping very hot and uncomfortable and I was unable to sleep. Again this is a beautifully amazing hotel but at this price point it fell short for me.

The best resort in San Diego! Every staff have been courteous and go out of their way to provide top notch service. From the valet team, to front desk, phone operators, house keeping and restaurant staff we have been treated like special guests. The rooms are extremely spacious, perfectly cleaned, and the bed are luxurious to sleep in. The water bottles, Nepresso, and tea bar with a full size water kettle shows the well appointed details that reminds the guest that this is a five star resort. We enjoyed the adult hot tub and the gorgeous lobby.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Park Hyatt Aviara Resort for a couple of nights, and it was truly the most luxurious resort and hotel I have ever experienced. From the moment I arrived, the service was exceptional and made the entire stay feel effortless and special. The property itself felt like a dream, with beautiful decor, immaculate grounds, and stunning scenery everywhere you looked. I also had the opportunity to play the golf course, which was absolutely amazing, with perfectly rolling greens and ideal weather that made for a memorable day of golf. Overall, the experience exceeded every expectation, and I genuinely hope to return again in the future.

I worked there as a photographer multiple times through the years, and recently attended a holiday party hosted by our homeowner association, which gave me the rare chance to experience the property as a guest, not only as a working professional. From events to formal gatherings, they never repeat themselves in a way that feels tired. Instead, the menus shift, surprise, and feel carefully curated. Having spent time working in multiple hotels, I’ve seen the full spectrum of hospitality standards. Park Hyatt Aviara consistently rises to the very top. The staff is always polite, welcoming, and genuinely warm — not just trained to smile, but present, attentive, and human. They make every visit feel personal and effortless, whether I’m there with camera in hand or simply enjoying a dinner as a guest. This hotel stands out not only for its beauty and polished atmosphere, but for the reliability of its excellence. Each visit reminds me why it remains my favorite — timeless, professional, unforgettable.

What a beautiful property. We stayed there this past weekend for the second time, and really enjoyed it. Driving up to the hotel entrance, you can already tell it's a posh hotel, and walking into the lobby and seeing the ocean view... Just amazing. The first time we stayed we were upgraded (my wife is a globalist with the Hyatt loyalty program, so free upgrades and free breakfast, very nice perks! ). to a one bedroom suite which was very nice and spacious. This time we weren't upgraded due to a large wedding party, but we still got a nice room with partial ocean view. As a pickleball player, I was able to take advantage of the courts connected to the hotel free of charge (super nice courts). And lastly, the breakfast was very good, with omelet station, a variety of hot items, fresh fruits and pastries, fresh juices and gourmet coffee, all in an elegant dining room. Elegance without snobbery defines the hotel, which is not the norm for high end hotels. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, adding enjoyment to the stay. Highly recommended!

I had a wonderful stay at Hyatt Park! The place is extremely pet-friendly, which made traveling with my dog so easy and comfortable. The service was highly professional and attentive—every detail was handled perfectly. The room itself was beautiful, private, and well-maintained, creating a really relaxing atmosphere. I also really appreciated the late checkout, which made the whole experience even better. Overall, everything felt thoughtful, seamless, and discreet—definitely a place I’d love to come back to ????????
