This is a late review, as I stayed at the hotel on July 16, 2026, while celebrating my son’s fifth birthday. After spending a long day at the park, all my son wanted to do was enjoy the hotel pool. We arrived around 4:30 PM, exhausted and ready to relax. Unfortunately, our experience started off on the wrong foot. When we attempted to check in using the kiosk, it wouldn’t allow us to complete the process. After waiting about 30 minutes to speak with someone, a LEGOLAND employee informed us that our room wasn’t ready because they had several staff call-offs that day and were running behind. To pass the time, we watched the pirate show in the lobby, my son played with the LEGO stations, and we walked around the hotel. Around 6:30 PM, I went back to ask for another update. Finally, at approximately 6:45 PM, we were told our room was ready. By that point, we had to rush to change so my son could enjoy the pool before it closed. Instead of having the relaxing afternoon we had planned, we only had about an hour to swim, and by then the weather had cooled off. It was disappointing because the pool was one of the main reasons we booked the hotel. While at the pool, we ordered drinks and French fries. We were told that we would receive a meal credit because of the lengthy delay in getting our room. We were also told that our parking would be complimentary due to the inconvenience. However, after returning home and reviewing our credit card statement, we discovered that we had been charged for both the pool food and the parking. When we finally got to our room, we discovered there were no washcloths, so we had to use the small hand towels to wash up. The water pressure in the shower was extremely weak, and the bathtub was clogged. I chose not to complain because the room itself was nicely themed and my son absolutely loved it, which made the experience worthwhile for him. What really left a bad impression, though, was that at 10:57 AM, housekeeping knocked on our door reminding us that checkout was at 11:00 AM and asking to clean the room. Considering we weren’t even able to check into our room until nearly 6:45 PM, it felt insensitive. We lost more than two hours of the stay we paid for, yet there was no flexibility or accommodation at checkout. Overall, this experience was disappointing. While my son had an amazing time and loved the hotel, the adults in our group felt that our time simply wasn’t valued. Delayed check-in, unfulfilled promises of compensation, room maintenance issues, and the rushed checkout experience overshadowed what should have been a memorable birthday celebration. I’m honestly torn about whether I would stay here again. If you’re staying solely for your children, they’ll probably have a wonderful time. But from a customer service standpoint, I expected much better especially when compensation was promised and ultimately never honored.

By far the best experience. I purchased hotel stay for out of town family member & his family who recently retired from military and as a family reunion, of sorts, as my other child who lives in the area brought his family, too For nearly 20 years SIL deployed 7 to 9 months of the year. Now he could enjoy being home on vacation. Ninjago Family Suite was a beauty to behold. After a day of rides, games, and Legos coming back to a spacious, Ninjago themed room to relax before dinner was perfect. The Chef came out at dinner to personally talk to us about granddaughter's severe peanut allergy. He lets us know what selections on the menu were allergen free. Food was delicious. Granddaughter and her dad went off to dance party while grandson and my daughter went to do Lego hunt in the lobby. Free 2nd day pass came with room rental. Sea Aquarium and other half of the park tomorrow. 5?'s and kudos to Legoland hotel staff for making a difference.

I have no idea where to begin. This past weekend was my guest time going there and I had just as much fun as my grandkids. The pool was nice, very family oriented with the depth of the pool being 5ft at the deepest end. They have a tree like pole that sprays water out around the sides and on the opposite side there are two buckets that fill with water then flip over. They also have giant soft Legos floating around the pool. There is a booth that offfers towels and a safety vest for little swimmers. On one side of the pool there is a small structure that offers adult drinks and other things that i really didn't pay too much attention to after receiving my drinks. They also have a playground with lots to do for the kiddos and another area with giant Legos that are soft like a rubberish like material, same ones that are in the pool. I do recommend keeping a closer eye on the smaller kids in the playground area because there are lots of big kids there that were practically trampling over the younger ones. Another nice thing they offer next to the playground is a giant screen where they show movies and there are a few comfy couches you can sit and enjoy them from. The hotel offers a buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I believe after breakfast time you're able to purchase beers from the bar area inside the buffet. There is also an area with Legos for the kids to play in there. Everything we had was delicious and if you're looking for the coffee is actually served in the bar. Don't forget to also scan the QR code in your room in front of the secondary safe and search the the clue so the kids can get their free Legos hidden inside that safe. The elevators are also a pretty cool feature. You can hear a cat meow and one of the walls has blinking lights. There is a Lego area on the 1st floor where the kids can play while you check in or out and they have so many cool Lego statues everywhere. I know I'm leaving more out but if you have the chance to go there you will not be disappointed.

Legoland hotel staff do a great job of keeping common areas clean. Rooms are themed and decorated great!! I like how the hotel has several activities for kids 1-12 that happen after the Legoland park closes. The buffet is also very convenient and a great way to fill up on food and drinks before going to the park. Buffet is included with your stay. You just have to be patient depending on when you go as there could be a line. The food, I believe does the job, not bad but also not great, I would say food is good. Also location yiu cannot beat as you are steps away from the park as once you exit hotel yiu are 30 seconds from the entrance to the park so you walk out doors to either hotel and are already at the entrance. I definitely recommend staying at least once in the hotel. Prices are a bit high but at least location cant be beat, activities at the hotel are great, you get the buffet as part of your stay, and after a long day at park you walk out of park right to your room.

I can't say enough how appreciateve we are about our stay. It's worht every penny. I would recommend to get the buffet! It's a great price for it, it definitely has better quality than I expected! Rooms are clean and the pictures in internet that's what you get. Not overdue in the pictures. Thumbs up ? for that They have good options at the bar such full bar ( not at Bricks restaurant) The entire Hotel made me feel so secure and safe. All kids approved kind of feeling so I was able to not stress much about anything! Housekeeping everyday, activities within the hotel. Perfect size so you don't feel you could loose your kiddo Ina whole city (within the hotel) I love the fact they hired young adults, special needs individuals and elders, for what I could judge as a guest. WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE! False advertisement!! And the Management they have representing Legoland does not care about your concerns or experience DO NOT BOOK AT LEGOLAND CALIFORNIA RESORT. We traveled all the way from Arizona to celebrate my daughter’s birthday, and what should have been a special family trip turned into a stressful and disappointing experience from the moment we arrived. Due to a vehicle emergency on the way, we arrived later than expected. Unfortunately, that was only the beginning of our problems. The first room we were assigned was filthy. There was hair in the bathtub, crumbs in the bed sheets, and the room clearly had not been cleaned properly. We immediately returned to the front desk and spoke with the manager, Angel. Instead of showing empathy or concern, Angel appeared irritated that we were reporting legitimate cleanliness issues. She moved us to a second room, which was also dirty. The outlets by the bed didn’t work, and there were additional cleanliness concerns. When I reported those issues, Angel walked with us to inspect another room. During the walk, her attitude and body language made it very clear she was frustrated that we continued finding problems. As paying guests, we should not be made to feel guilty for expecting a clean room. The third room was no better. There were crumbs on the floor, marks on the walls, damaged bedding, dust, and obvious signs that basic housekeeping standards were not being followed. When I asked if the rooms were vacuumed, both employees looked surprised. Angel’s response was simply, “They’re supposed to.” She was upset I was telling her about the issues of the hotel . The attached photos speak for themselves. The housekeepers here are not properly cleaning ! What was especially frustrating was that we have our baby with us, and I pointed out that food crumbs and debris on the floor are a safety concern. We also have a child with autism, and despite LEGOLAND advertising accommodations for autistic guests, nobody provided us with any information or assistance regarding those accommodations. To make matters worse, after being moved multiple times, I had to drag a crib from one room before angel decided to offered assistance. My family was exhausted, hungry, and overwhelmed after a long day of travel and a vehicle emergency. Instead of receiving understanding and customer service, we were met with resistance and attitude. We explained that we were celebrating our daughter’s birthday and even offered to PAY EXTRA to upgrade to a cleaner room. Angel refused. We asked about a refund because every room we were shown had cleanliness issues. She refused that as well and told us we could check out—but since we had technically checked in, they would not refund us. Let’s be clear: every time we were handed room keys, we walked into the room, saw the condition, and immediately returned to the front desk. We never even brought our bags in or unpacked our luggage because the rooms were unacceptable. A family resort should prioritize cleanliness, customer service, and guest experience. Unfortunately, we experienced none of those things. LEGOLAND advertises itself as a magical family destination, but our experience was the exact opposite. Dirty rooms, poor housekeeping, lack of accommodations for an autistic child, and a manager who seemed annoyed by guests reporting legitimate concerns. We spent our daughter’s birthday dealing with room issues instead of creating memories. Extremely disappointed and would not recommend LEGOLAND California Resort to other families. Management can see I came down stairs multiple times because I wasn’t happy about out rooms and they can see the interaction we had with Angel was acting because she was upset review security footage from the Pirate-themed hotel hallway Save your money and stay elsewhere. Legoland needs to do some serious cleaning !!!! And training customer service and the quality of what you’re getting is very important! Save your money!

Our family had an amazing stay at the LEGOLAND Hotel, and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting LEGOLAND. In my opinion, it's a better value than staying at Disneyland Resort. While Disneyland has become very expensive, we felt the LEGOLAND Hotel offered a much more enjoyable experience for the price. From check in to check out, the staff was outstanding friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. The hotel itself was clean, fun, and full of LEGO-themed touches that kept the kids entertained throughout our stay. The quick and convenient access to the theme park was another huge plus, making it easy to maximize our time in the park. We had dinner at the hotel's buffet, which seemed a little pricey for a family of four. However, the complimentary breakfast that's included for hotel guests definitely helps balance out the overall cost. The breakfast had a great variety and was a fantastic way to start the day before heading into the park. If I had one complaint, it would be the parking fee for hotel guests. Considering you're already staying at the hotel, complimentary parking would have been a nice benefit. Overall, that small issue didn't take away from our experience. Our family had an absolute blast, and the memories we made were well worth it. I highly recommend the LEGOLAND Hotel to any family looking for a fun, convenient, and memorable vacation. We can't wait to come back!

We have now had two vacations at LEGOLAND hotel an theme park. And we loved both of them. This place is a wonderland if your kid is into Legos. It’s more so for probably pre-teen and under as it’s geared to the younger ages. The hotel property has lots of activities from Lego play areas and a swimming pool in both hotels. The do a nightly dance party in the LEGOLAND hotels. My son loved the dance parties. The castle hotel has outdoor stage for imaginary play, Lego outdoor play areas, playground, and movie screen that’s playing all day and movies in the evening. Even the elevator has a disco ball and plays funky disco music when it’s moving. Our family always gets into the groove when the music comes on. The rooms are all Lego themed. We got the lowest cost standard room both times. It has two sleep area with a queen bed with a bigger TV on the main side and a kids sleep are with a bunk bed and roll-a-way bed under with. Smaller TV . So that’s a total of 4 beds (1-queen, 3-twins). They also provide a bucket of Legos to play in the room. Now the one downside to the older cheaper rooms, carpets are older should be deep cleaned more often. The hallways to the older rooms have a stinky feet smell to them. They do have newer renovated rooms if you want to splurge for cleaner haha. They also offer a treasure hunt that gets you a code to a safe in your room with a small 3-in-1 LEGO kit. Bummer though on our first trip it was one per night, now it’s changed to one per stay. I saved the best for last. The complimentary breakfast buffet at Bricks. It’s not just your fee item buffet, tons of stuff, see my review on Bricks page. I love me some breakfast and I love that it’s included. We’ll definitely be back again a few more times before our son outgrows this place haha.

We stayed here for a birthday and it was worth every penny. The rooms are clean and fun, but the birthday magic is what shines. The in-room treasure hunt and the staff’s attention to detail made my child feel so special. It’s the best way to turn a trip to LEGOLAND into a core memory. A bit pricey and old though.

The hotel was amazing! We stayed at the castle side in a family suite. Extremely kid friendly! The kids had a blast. We had access to both hotels and the amenities. A little pricey, but worth it. Im 39 so I had Lego nostalgia the whole time. Highly recommend
