WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE! False advertisement!! And the Management they have representing Legoland does not care about your concerns or experience DO NOT BOOK AT LEGOLAND CALIFORNIA RESORT. We traveled all the way from Arizona to celebrate my daughter’s birthday, and what should have been a special family trip turned into a stressful and disappointing experience from the moment we arrived. Due to a vehicle emergency on the way, we arrived later than expected. Unfortunately, that was only the beginning of our problems. The first room we were assigned was filthy. There was hair in the bathtub, crumbs in the bed sheets, and the room clearly had not been cleaned properly. We immediately returned to the front desk and spoke with the manager, Angel. Instead of showing empathy or concern, Angel appeared irritated that we were reporting legitimate cleanliness issues. She moved us to a second room, which was also dirty. The outlets by the bed didn’t work, and there were additional cleanliness concerns. When I reported those issues, Angel walked with us to inspect another room. During the walk, her attitude and body language made it very clear she was frustrated that we continued finding problems. As paying guests, we should not be made to feel guilty for expecting a clean room. The third room was no better. There were crumbs on the floor, marks on the walls, damaged bedding, dust, and obvious signs that basic housekeeping standards were not being followed. When I asked if the rooms were vacuumed, both employees looked surprised. Angel’s response was simply, “They’re supposed to.” She was upset I was telling her about the issues of the hotel . The attached photos speak for themselves. The housekeepers here are not properly cleaning ! What was especially frustrating was that we have our baby with us, and I pointed out that food crumbs and debris on the floor are a safety concern. We also have a child with autism, and despite LEGOLAND advertising accommodations for autistic guests, nobody provided us with any information or assistance regarding those accommodations. To make matters worse, after being moved multiple times, I had to drag a crib from one room before angel decided to offered assistance. My family was exhausted, hungry, and overwhelmed after a long day of travel and a vehicle emergency. Instead of receiving understanding and customer service, we were met with resistance and attitude. We explained that we were celebrating our daughter’s birthday and even offered to PAY EXTRA to upgrade to a cleaner room. Angel refused. We asked about a refund because every room we were shown had cleanliness issues. She refused that as well and told us we could check out—but since we had technically checked in, they would not refund us. Let’s be clear: every time we were handed room keys, we walked into the room, saw the condition, and immediately returned to the front desk. We never even brought our bags in or unpacked our luggage because the rooms were unacceptable. A family resort should prioritize cleanliness, customer service, and guest experience. Unfortunately, we experienced none of those things. LEGOLAND advertises itself as a magical family destination, but our experience was the exact opposite. Dirty rooms, poor housekeeping, lack of accommodations for an autistic child, and a manager who seemed annoyed by guests reporting legitimate concerns. We spent our daughter’s birthday dealing with room issues instead of creating memories. Extremely disappointed and would not recommend LEGOLAND California Resort to other families. Management can see I came down stairs multiple times because I wasn’t happy about out rooms and they can see the interaction we had with Angel was acting because she was upset review security footage from the Pirate-themed hotel hallway Save your money and stay elsewhere. Legoland needs to do some serious cleaning !!!! And training customer service and the quality of what you’re getting is very important! Save your money!

Our family had an amazing stay at the LEGOLAND Hotel, and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting LEGOLAND. In my opinion, it's a better value than staying at Disneyland Resort. While Disneyland has become very expensive, we felt the LEGOLAND Hotel offered a much more enjoyable experience for the price. From check in to check out, the staff was outstanding friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. The hotel itself was clean, fun, and full of LEGO-themed touches that kept the kids entertained throughout our stay. The quick and convenient access to the theme park was another huge plus, making it easy to maximize our time in the park. We had dinner at the hotel's buffet, which seemed a little pricey for a family of four. However, the complimentary breakfast that's included for hotel guests definitely helps balance out the overall cost. The breakfast had a great variety and was a fantastic way to start the day before heading into the park. If I had one complaint, it would be the parking fee for hotel guests. Considering you're already staying at the hotel, complimentary parking would have been a nice benefit. Overall, that small issue didn't take away from our experience. Our family had an absolute blast, and the memories we made were well worth it. I highly recommend the LEGOLAND Hotel to any family looking for a fun, convenient, and memorable vacation. We can't wait to come back!

We have now had two vacations at LEGOLAND hotel an theme park. And we loved both of them. This place is a wonderland if your kid is into Legos. It’s more so for probably pre-teen and under as it’s geared to the younger ages. The hotel property has lots of activities from Lego play areas and a swimming pool in both hotels. The do a nightly dance party in the LEGOLAND hotels. My son loved the dance parties. The castle hotel has outdoor stage for imaginary play, Lego outdoor play areas, playground, and movie screen that’s playing all day and movies in the evening. Even the elevator has a disco ball and plays funky disco music when it’s moving. Our family always gets into the groove when the music comes on. The rooms are all Lego themed. We got the lowest cost standard room both times. It has two sleep area with a queen bed with a bigger TV on the main side and a kids sleep are with a bunk bed and roll-a-way bed under with. Smaller TV . So that’s a total of 4 beds (1-queen, 3-twins). They also provide a bucket of Legos to play in the room. Now the one downside to the older cheaper rooms, carpets are older should be deep cleaned more often. The hallways to the older rooms have a stinky feet smell to them. They do have newer renovated rooms if you want to splurge for cleaner haha. They also offer a treasure hunt that gets you a code to a safe in your room with a small 3-in-1 LEGO kit. Bummer though on our first trip it was one per night, now it’s changed to one per stay. I saved the best for last. The complimentary breakfast buffet at Bricks. It’s not just your fee item buffet, tons of stuff, see my review on Bricks page. I love me some breakfast and I love that it’s included. We’ll definitely be back again a few more times before our son outgrows this place haha.

We stayed here for a birthday and it was worth every penny. The rooms are clean and fun, but the birthday magic is what shines. The in-room treasure hunt and the staff’s attention to detail made my child feel so special. It’s the best way to turn a trip to LEGOLAND into a core memory. A bit pricey and old though.

The hotel was amazing! We stayed at the castle side in a family suite. Extremely kid friendly! The kids had a blast. We had access to both hotels and the amenities. A little pricey, but worth it. Im 39 so I had Lego nostalgia the whole time. Highly recommend
