The beds are SO comfortable, the location is superb, and the people are really kind and care that you have a good stay. It felt comforting after a long travel day. By the way, the owners are continually working to improve a facility that is so close to the beach. (It requires constant attention, but they’re on it! and will listen if you have suggestions.)

Most disgusting room I have ever stayed in couch is torn and soiled with holes from being burnt. Bed sheets and pillow cases stained bed soiled in urine room air conditioner not working. And all I can get is well put you on top priority for management to talk to. This is ridiculous never ever stay here. Booked another hotel the same night instead of staying here if I could give zero stars I would.

Super filthy dirty disgusting carpets. I didn’t let my son even seat on the little couch. I’ve seen homeless people sleeping on cleaner ones. Cockroaches in the sink. When we entered the hallway from the elevator it smelled like moldy socks and a mix of cigarette and marijuana. And the carpet was appallingly dirty. The room AC was set on 62 so it was like a morgue. No heater. No microwave, one fork, bugs in the cupboard and with the dishes. We used our sleeping bags, there was no way we were gonna sleep in such dirty sheets. I understand it is much cheaper but if it’s cheaper because it’s dirty then people need to know that. This hotel looks like it used to be nice. The architecture is beautiful and so is the landscaping. I think whoever bought it last has zero care or business knowledge. Too bad, lots of potential.

Let's just start with when you arrive & go to front desk. For me that says it all about your stay. Marietta C.not only has a very welcoming smile, she is there to help you 100% you tell her what you like for stay ( room, price, info) she is on top of it & won't break away from her computer tell she finds you the best deal & you are happy as well. Very efficient, helpful, goes above & beyond. Hotel hospitality industry need more woman like her. Thank you for making my stay & my pets stay like home

The front desk staff was very kind and considerate. The location of this motel is great if you want to see a bit of the area along the coast. But if you are a light sleeper good luck with the train tracks so close by. I wished there was at least a continental breakfast option, or an available/ stocked market pantry near front desk. Seems like a lot of potential but a lot of unused space going to waste near the lobby area. As well as an empty dry pool. That's no fun! Also I did come in contact with some critters (roaches small and medium in kitchen and bathroom) my least favorite part of my stay. And because of that I will not be returning.

Absolutely terrible - booked through Expedia and the pictures posted did not represent the hotel room I was given. Absolutely disgusting: dog hair everywhere , the sheets were dirty and stained, the mattress was absolutely disgusting, the room was beat up, bugs on walls, broken A/C unit. I asked to change rooms and I was told I couldn’t and would need to speak to management in the morning. I packed my things up and walked to a hotel down the road that was much cleaner and accommodating. Will never even consider staying at another Motel 6 in my life.

The good: close to Legoland, and a gas and convenience store across the street. Ample room with full kitchenette. SOME OF the front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The bad: old, tore-down furniture. Found at least 4 small roaches roaming around the room during our stay. Bathroom amenities were not there when we arrived. One of the towels was super stained. Room was not cleaned during our stay. Pool and fitness room were closed. No breakfast offered. They wouldn't keep our luggage for a short while after check out, the front desk staff the last day was NOT friendly.

This place once was a nice place. It was so bad it's unbelievable. It needs a heavy makeover! Specifically deep cleaning, sinks, drains, showers/tubs. The outdated & highly hazardous heating/cooling units have been cleaned using toxic chemicals that, when turned on, are a health issue. They are broken and sparked. So, grimy everything, no blankets, furniture feels like burlap, it felt so horrid I had to leave once I went back after fishing off the pier in oceanside I was there 2 hours & left, drove home. There's no way i could sleep, heater so toxic. I couldn't take another minute. Don't even stay here. Freeway I-5 right in back and trains right in front. What a major eye-opening I'm done spending hours online trying to find places to stay, and you get this or a ghost rental by the big booking agents online. No way.

I will state the workers at this hotel are nice some are honest and others don’t care that this hotel is infested with roaches and Bedbugs I’ve stayed here and had a run in with dirty sheets being left on the bed dirty towels .Problem solved…I would ask for clean towels and bedding while staying problem solve. I always clean everything my self n usually use my own towels but then I realized this place also had roaches and bedbugs and fleas……. Not to mention being switched around rooms because ac didn’t work mid summer the rooms were blazing hot not to mention the windows couldn’t be open as the screens are broken in the room as well there’s 2 female employees maybe 3 who tried to be very helpful as they knew the issues of the property but all that can be done is not fixing the issues on this property it needs to be fumigated poor people staying there are leaving with roaches and bed bugs a sorry is all you will get once you notice they are there.Knowing everyone on payroll knows it’s infested.The pics are a lie this place need be shut down asap!!!

This hotel could be amazing. It's very nicely laid out. The rooms are roomy and there is a great kitchenette. However, the negatives outweigh the positives by far. Let's start with killing two cockroaches in my room in under ten minutes. Then we can move on to the disgustingly filthy sofa, or the bathroom sink where the plunger doesn't come up, so you can't use the sink. The front door had duct tape up in the right corner, not sure why, but the door does not close properly. My favorite part though is the very classy hair clip they provide to keep the curtains closed. And the stains in the bathtub are pretty gross. It's really a shame. I am moving out tomorrow rather than stay all weekend. I hope they can pull it together because it could be very nice.
