The beds are SO comfortable, the location is superb, and the people are really kind and care that you have a good stay. It felt comforting after a long travel day. By the way, the owners are continually working to improve a facility that is so close to the beach. (It requires constant attention, but they’re on it! and will listen if you have suggestions.)

Most disgusting room I have ever stayed in couch is torn and soiled with holes from being burnt. Bed sheets and pillow cases stained bed soiled in urine room air conditioner not working. And all I can get is well put you on top priority for management to talk to. This is ridiculous never ever stay here. Booked another hotel the same night instead of staying here if I could give zero stars I would.

Super filthy dirty disgusting carpets. I didn’t let my son even seat on the little couch. I’ve seen homeless people sleeping on cleaner ones. Cockroaches in the sink. When we entered the hallway from the elevator it smelled like moldy socks and a mix of cigarette and marijuana. And the carpet was appallingly dirty. The room AC was set on 62 so it was like a morgue. No heater. No microwave, one fork, bugs in the cupboard and with the dishes. We used our sleeping bags, there was no way we were gonna sleep in such dirty sheets. I understand it is much cheaper but if it’s cheaper because it’s dirty then people need to know that. This hotel looks like it used to be nice. The architecture is beautiful and so is the landscaping. I think whoever bought it last has zero care or business knowledge. Too bad, lots of potential.

Let's just start with when you arrive & go to front desk. For me that says it all about your stay. Marietta C.not only has a very welcoming smile, she is there to help you 100% you tell her what you like for stay ( room, price, info) she is on top of it & won't break away from her computer tell she finds you the best deal & you are happy as well. Very efficient, helpful, goes above & beyond. Hotel hospitality industry need more woman like her. Thank you for making my stay & my pets stay like home

The front desk staff was very kind and considerate. The location of this motel is great if you want to see a bit of the area along the coast. But if you are a light sleeper good luck with the train tracks so close by. I wished there was at least a continental breakfast option, or an available/ stocked market pantry near front desk. Seems like a lot of potential but a lot of unused space going to waste near the lobby area. As well as an empty dry pool. That's no fun! Also I did come in contact with some critters (roaches small and medium in kitchen and bathroom) my least favorite part of my stay. And because of that I will not be returning.

Absolutely terrible - booked through Expedia and the pictures posted did not represent the hotel room I was given. Absolutely disgusting: dog hair everywhere , the sheets were dirty and stained, the mattress was absolutely disgusting, the room was beat up, bugs on walls, broken A/C unit. I asked to change rooms and I was told I couldn’t and would need to speak to management in the morning. I packed my things up and walked to a hotel down the road that was much cleaner and accommodating. Will never even consider staying at another Motel 6 in my life.

The good: close to Legoland, and a gas and convenience store across the street. Ample room with full kitchenette. SOME OF the front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The bad: old, tore-down furniture. Found at least 4 small roaches roaming around the room during our stay. Bathroom amenities were not there when we arrived. One of the towels was super stained. Room was not cleaned during our stay. Pool and fitness room were closed. No breakfast offered. They wouldn't keep our luggage for a short while after check out, the front desk staff the last day was NOT friendly.

I recently stayed at Studio 6 and, unfortunately, had one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I’ve encountered. While the room itself was a decent size, it was in very poor condition. Although advertised as having a kitchenette, the room was missing several basic amenities, including a coffee maker, microwave, and essential dishware. There were no hangers in the closet, the AC/heating unit in the bedroom was non-functional, and the toilet paper holder was coming off the wall. Additionally, the bedroom curtains were torn, contributing to the overall worn and neglected appearance of the room. Even more concerning were the bugs!! During my stay, I killed six cockroaches, one of which climbed up the wall directly behind my head while I was sitting on the couch. There were also spiders in the shower and ants on the kitchen counter. The condition of the room was simply unacceptable by any standard. I reported these issues multiple times, but no effective action was taken. The following day, I was provided with a small, single-serving coffee pot and the same broken toaster I had returned earlier. After raising these concerns with the manager again, I was informed that I would receive a full refund for my stay. While the staff were courteous, their kindness did not compensate for the unacceptable conditions. I strongly discourage anyone from booking a stay at this property. It was dirty, poorly maintained, and ultimately not worth the cost or stress.

Staff are very nice but it's disgusting here. Dog hair all over pull out bed showing that it's never clean, toenail clippings near the bed?, stuff splattered on the curtains, spiders all over, stained sheets, and broken furniture. Too bad. The outside is nice but they put no effort into cleaning or updating. Corporate controls how rundown it is. It's not like they can't afford it. They're just lazy ah. BUT for everything to also be dirty shows housekeeping doesn't care either. With how many bad reviews and no changes is sad. Hotels.com tricked me saying this was a 6.0. They had to have paid people to write good reviews. Just horrible.

IMAGES ON THEIR WEBSITE ARE VERY MISLEADING!! Terrible experience. Reserved for soccer tournament. Looks nice in pictures, and first glance in person, but the rooms were unclean (will explain). Original room was not ready when we arrived so was given another room. Hallway carpet was filthy, which left me with a bad feeling. Walked in to the room and immediately noticed a weird smell, the carpet was dingy and discovered dead bugs around the inside of the tub (dirty as well). Shocked, but thought, ok, I already paid $150, so will just ask for another room, which they immediately accommodated (relayed the issues with the room). Walked to the 2nd room, but was unable to get in, so they reactivated the cards. Maid saw me struggling a second time and jiggled the card to make it work. Entered 2nd room and similar as first. My daughter reported a roach in the bathroom and I saw baby roaches on the dressers and walking along the floor. The shower curtains were only partially hanging correctly and the toilet paper dispenser was barely secured to the wall. I knew then that we were not going to stay. I could not imagine trying to sleep there. I did not want that for my daughter. I was so disturbed by the lack of care that I paid for another hotel 20 mins away. The staff was very friendly. If not for them, I wouldn't have given this place even 1 star...
