Booked this hotel for our Legoland trip! Only 6 minutes away! We're a family of 4 and loved our room, super spacious. We added a roll on bed and fit perfectly right next to our bed. The couch also turned into a pullout bed for our 16 year old! The beach is a minute away on the next block! We loved this hotel so much. The rooms were super clean, everyone was super friendly. They have a gas station right next door. We loved the pool & jacuzzi, complimentary breakfast with alot of options to eat and milk and cookies at night! My daughter had left her plushie at the hotel and didn't notice until we got to Las Vegas. They were kind enough to send it back to us! Its next to the freeway andbyou can't hear the traffic at all. Can't wait to book this hotel again!

The rooms are really suited for families with kids! Gives them ample space to run around.. the hot breakfast options are decent and taste good as well. It's clean and maintained neat! Also additional benefit, they offer cookies with milk every night from 8-9PM. The kids enjoyed that during our stay so much! They also did room service everyday of our stay!

The property is absolutely amazing. The front staff make you feel like you're at home. The rooms are clean and have every amenities you may need including a microwave, small sink and a fridge. The beds were big and comfy. The property itself is very welcoming. The pools open for long hours. They provide free board games for kids to play along that milk and cookies at night. The complimentary hot breakfast was pretty Good as well. They offered sausage, potato and egg. Had a waffle maker. Fresh pastries and hot coffee. On a side note is literally a small short drive from everything including the beaches,Legoland, restaurants and shopping! Overall we will be back.

The hotel staff is absolutely top-notch—you truly get a five-star experience from start to finish. The lobby is warm and welcoming, and the rooms are large, very comfortable, and well appointed. The location is excellent—within a mile of the beach and close to great shopping. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Hello, my name is Claudia. I stayed at the West Inn Suites in Carlsbad, and my original room was 115. While washing my hands, I removed my two diamond rings. The next day, we moved to room 206, and when I realized my rings were missing, we searched everywhere until we concluded I had left them in room 115. The night shift found my rings, and Mr. Abi turned them in. I would like to sincerely thank Mr. Abi for his honesty and integrity. I left a small token of appreciation for him at the front desk. I would definitely stay at West Inn Suites Carlsbad again. ??

I stumbled upon this hotel while booking last-minute on the way to the Carlsbad area and I'm so happy I found it! We were a bit skeptical at first because it's a huge hotel but there were pretty much no guests to be found! It was the first Monday of Dec. so people had probably just left after Thanksgiving travel. The lobby was very welcoming and nicely decorated for Christmas, and I enjoyed the giant wooden nutcrackers at the entrance doors. The staff were all friendly and helpful, very laid back and accommodating. Our room was clean and comfortable. The linens were nice, bed was comfortable, the fridge was larger than average for a hotel room. While the room itself is a bit dated, it is clean, spacious, and well-appointed with everything you need. The price was very reasonable, and we liked being able to see our car from the room. They offer a full hot breakfast in the morning but we weren't awake early enough to partake. They also offer milk and cookies before bed which is a nice touch. They have a pool, gym, etc., but we didn't use any of that either. There is plenty of free parking available too! My boyfriend was planning to spend the day with a friend who lives locally, so upon checkout I asked the front desk about space to sit and work for a while. I was invited to sit in the library (a comfy couch-sitting area I hadn't noticed), or to an upstairs seating area, or the business center. I found solace in the library/dining area and happily hunkered down to chip away at a backlog of work in a comfortable setting. While it likely isn't a common occurrence, I appreciated that the hotel wasn't busy and there weren't many distractions. I spent about 5 hours working before leaving to meet up with my boyfriend. Overall it was a very pleasant experience and a happy accident that we stumbled upon this hotel! I will definitely stay here again if I am in the area. The location is great for exploring Carlsbad and Oceanside, right off the freeway, right next to a gas station with a convenience store too. Highly recommended!

My family and I only stayed here for one night so the location was convenient, we didn’t stay long enough to enjoy the beach or anything. As soon as we pulled up to the front, we were impressed. We ended up getting the 2 king beds and sofa bed suite, it was so spacious and clean. Let’s not get started how fluffy and comfortable the beds are. The breakfast was really good as well. My one and only dislike was that our bathroom didn’t have a fan, so bring an air freshener. : ) Overall, it’s really cute, cozy and nice. We definitely recommend it?

I loved our stay! The staff is so kind and accommodating. We were going to miss cookies our first night and the young lady saved us some. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfy. The breakfast was hearty and fresh. I’ll definitely stay there again!
